May Flowering Tulip Bulbs

It is universally agreed that the May Flowering Tulip is the King of Tulips and one cannot imagine a garden without them. They rank amongst our most charming spring-flowering plants and wherever seen, either in prominent beds and borders, orchard or kitchen gardens, it would be difficult to better their rich shades of colour for producing an imposing effect. They are also most useful for grouping amongst shrubs and evergreens, where they greatly enhance the beauty of any colour scheme during the most enchanting season of Spring. The ease with which they may be grown is in a great measure the reason for their popularity, added to the fact that they bloom at a season when brilliant sunshine makes their rich colours irresistibly attractive.
